How to purchase a board:
Interested in owning a piece of Collectively Skated?
Each of the 44 canvas-covered skateboards in Collectively Skated by Carissa Carter and Christopher Hoyt is unique and individually numbered. The piece was created specifically for ArtPrize 2010.
Hand-dyed canvas is stretched over each maple board and then hand sewn. Boards include silver trucks and white wheels.
Two ways to purchase:
If you encounter the artists at the show you may select a board of your choosing to purchase and pay in cash. Upon full payment, your board is off the market and may be picked up in Grand Rapids after October 10, 2010. If you need your board shipped, an additional $25 cost for packaging and shipping within the United States is added to your total price.
Alternatively, you may pay with a credit card or PayPal, browse, and purchase boards online at: www.etsy.com/shop/snowflyzone.
Cost:
Most boards start at a base price of $150 USD. A few boards start at a higher price based on demand and are marked as such.
Ten percent of the cost of each board goes to organizations in Grand Rapids, MI that work with individuals living below the poverty line. If you desire, you may pay more than the base price of the board, and the donation will be scaled accordingly.
